Administrative and biographical history: Llandaff Road Baptist church was built in 1852, the first Nonconformist chapel in Canton, Glamorgan. It was a Welsh-speaking chapel until the 1890s, when it became English-speaking, but almost all of its records were kept in English throughout. The members of the chapel united with the members of the nearby New Trinity United Reformed Church in 1995, and the building was sold to become the Cardiff Chinese Christian Church.
Scope and content: Records of the Llandaff Road Baptist Church, 1852-1995: minutes of church meetings; minutes of deacons meetings; minutes of other church groups; registers of members; accounts; property records; filing and correspondence; photographs; church newsletter; and a history of the church (produced 1953).
